It’s hard to believe that convention season has already started, but here we are. I’ll be at OrcaCon this weekend for a bit, moderating two panels and haunting the food trucks.

Friday, January 11, 6pm: Imposter! We’ll be talking about how to deal with imposter syndrome from the standpoint of people who have extra hurdles to clear – queer folks, people of color, women, and disabled folks. Last year’s panel was intense and spirited, and I expect nothing less this year.

Saturday, January 12, 6pm: Oops, I Did It Again. What happens when you screw up, how to handle it, how to apologize, how to recover, and how to stop causing more harm. Not an easy subject, but an important one.

Outside of that, I should be around the bar Friday evening and most of Saturday. If I’m not there, I’m at the food trucks, or in the gaming area.
